Nurturing Young Minds for their Future
About the Program
A common gap has been identified in students’ skill sets related to planning, perseverance and resilience. These skills link to core capabilities required in business and everyday life skills. The "Nurturing Young Minds for their Future" program is designed to take students through this experiential program at an early age in order to increase the success rate of these students as they progress to high-school and beyond.
The program runs between March to December during school hours. Business skills are taught using an experiential project with a community focus.
The first school to participate in this program is Meredith Primary School. In 2020, the students designed and built a Community Garden in Meredith.
